I am not sure that many know that I paint a lot of dog portraits. I have painted dog portraits for different Denver Art Museum board members as well as our beloved animals. This is the latest dog portrait that I have finished. It was commissioned by a good friend and important collector of my work. I think it is important to capture the animals spirit as well as creating an over-all work of art.
